Mission: to identify molecular mechanisms of tumor response that can be used to predict treatment outcome and identify new therapeutic vulnerabilities

Strategy: the tumor microenvironment is complex and a key determinant in driving tumor proliferation and treatment response and toxicity in cancer patients.  We conduct fundamental and translational research using primary tissue models and patient samples to study the role of secretory vesicles, defects in protein translation, altered tumor metabolism and tumor stem cells to exploit combination treatments with radiotherapy targeted therapies and systemic therapies including in activating the  anti-tumor immune system
