Department of Radiotherapy

Uncovering the biological mechanisms that promote cancer resistance to therapy is the main focus of the department. We believe that fundamental research is key to improve cancer combination treatments by increasing sensitivity and reducing toxicity in normal tissues.

Research in the department is concentrated

on tumors of the brain, head and neck, lung,

breast, skin, and hematologic malignancies.
