Department of Radiotherapy

The Radiation Oncology department has strong interactions with MAASTRO (Maastricht Radiation Oncology), an integrated institute combining a state of the art radiation oncology (Maastro Clinic) with interdisciplinary clinical, translational and basic research in physics and biology. Maastro Clinic is the largest Radiotherapy clinic in southeast of the Netherlands treating around 4000 patients every year. Maastro Clinic is one of four locations in the Netherlands which have received a permit to build a proton therapy center.
